Is Britain ready for a foreign Prime Minister?

Badenoch was born in Britain to, obviously comparatively wealthy, Nigerians

But she didn’t stay, returning to Nigeria with her parents pdq

So it was rather like a birth of convenience, qualifying for passport and citizenship etc etc

But she’s a Nigerian in reality, her first language is Nigerian

And she did not live in Britain until she was an adult, see her Wiki page:

“Badenoch spent her childhood living in Lagos, Nigeria, and in the United States, where her mother lectured. She returned to the UK at the age of 16 to live with a friend of her mother’s owing to the deteriorating political and economic situation in Nigeria, which had affected her family”

So, if she wins the current contest then, in reality Britain will be faced with the prospect of a foreign Prime Minister

When the Tories “Buggin’s turn” happens in due course, as it undoubtedly will at some point

Which could be sooner than we all expect given the execrable state of the inveterate liars currently at the helm….

All this makes me wonder who her hidden sponsors are, it’s not the usual story arc of a poor African immigrant is it

  1. Tapestry says:

Jenrick is a Ridley/Stanley protege – as was clear from his support for the Jockey Club’s proposals to develop luxury hotels and housing around South East racetracks under BJ. Badenoch I might reasanably suspect of being an ally of Starmer-type measures which could include favouring EU, and not our own sovereignty. I hope Jenrick makes it.
