Spastics Olympics
Fri 9:54 am +01:00, 6 Sep 2024The ParaOlympics have been on since the normal Olympics ended. Glancing at the odd YouTube vid I can’t help but notice that some of the winning competitors look decidedly NOT “Para” at all, but perfectly healthy. For example the Brit geezer that won yesterday’s javelin with a Para “World record” looked perfectly normal to me. Commentators said that he competed as a non-Para up to 2018 or so…
How does that work then? How did he become a Para but still able to hurl the spear for 75 meters or more?
So thinking about it then, I imagine that the ParaOlympics rulebook must be fatter than a London telephone directory. So many rules to differentiate between Paras and non-Paras. Because there is a big incentive to cheat isn’t there. A perfectly healthy competitor is going to beat a Para every time…
A bit like those tranny blokes who SAY that they are a woman and then compete in women’s sport. Even though some of them have still got a one-eyed trouser snake and gonads the size of grapefruits. And they usually win don’t they…
Of course this cheating suits the Brits down to the ground. Britain is second in the medal tables to China, with 36 gold medals. Ahead of the US by 9 and ahead of most European countries by 20 or more. How does that make any sense? We NEVER ever beat US, Russia, Germany or Australia in the normal Olympics medal tables do we?
Is it because we are a nation of high quality Paras, or is it just because we are better cheats? 😂🤣
