Too many people want something for nothing. If the UK had instituted a proper form of health insurance – and I know it’s not cheap for the average person – then things might be better and if people paid a portion of their medical procedures, they might think again about frivolous call outs.
I’m not downplaying health problems, but when people have called the emergency services because they’ve forgotten to take their contraceptive pill, because they’ve got a headache (and these are two things doctors have mentioned), then the NHS might be healthier.
