NATO (Ukraine) attempting to attack nuclear power plants
Thu 9:05 pm +01:00, 22 Aug 2024 1There is much discussion as to what Ukraine i.e. NATO is trying to achieve attacking Kursk. The aim was to get to the nuclear power plant and occupy it forcing Russia to negotiate. So far Russia has managed to destroy most of Ukraine’s many NATO-supplied vehicles in the Kursk attack. Ukraine has sent its best troops and equipment, including drones and air power to Kursk. This has demoralised the rest of the front in Donbass. Has Ukraine decided to give up on Donbass? Nothing makes much sense in war, and this war is no exception. Only the bankers and the industrialists benefit and they don’t really care who wins and who loses. They make money. Populations fall. Countries get decimated so they can offer no competition in the balance of political power high up in the chain, as they struggle to get their morale and economies back up and running once the killing is over. In Kursk NATO is not counting Ukraine’s losses – same as everywhere else. Zelensky’s only a puppet. Maybe Putin is no different.
Ukraine could be about to launch another offensive from Sumy area, with huge concentration of forces.
Dima’s commentary gets muddled up between Russian and Ukrainian moves calling them the wrong way around! He should slow down.
Poor old Grossi of IAEA fame has to try and talk his way out of this one, when the Russians have been able to provide footage of the Ukie drone that attacked the power plant.
