    Yes, Ian; this kind of disclosure is gaining ground in the years since Scott Beck’s book first appeared and more is learned about this disorder, which is now referred to as NPD.

    The US and UK political class is awash with people with these characteristics; one of their delights is creating chaos, and projecting the blame on others; order out of chaos publicly promoted by one Lord Cameron quite a few yeas ago now – sound familiar?

    The advent of social media has also given opportunity to many who might have remained in the shadows to present themselves publicly. One of their principle characteristics is charisma, with which they charm others; another is grandiosity and self-importance.
