      It’s one of the reasons that I loved Frank’s work so much. Brilliant music, he was a superb guitarist, and always had great players with him too. And his lyrics were often very, very, funny and were often dissident, or subversive, in some way. People thought that he was a druggie but most definitely not, he was just a natural born surrealist. I started listening to him in the early 1970’s, so 50+ years a fan, sigh. He passed in 1993, 30 damn years ago….

      I really started to wake up in 2012 when I joined Twitter. It had some great links in those days, it led me to The Tap. I never post on Twitter anymore, haven’t for several years, I just use it for footy stuff only now. This is still my handle there on my, basically redundant, account:

      It is a family too, a world wide family, but mainly scousers….
