A top private school has blasted a low traffic neighbourhood scheme for causing congestion chaos that has led to teachers resigning or refusing to accept job offers.
The £20,000-a-year Magdalen College School has become the latest critic of the hated LTNs, which has led to gridlock mayhem in the rural Oxfordshire countryside and sparked fury from locals after it was revealed the measures were permanent.
Officials at the elite institution claim snarl-ups have become so bad that a nine-minute bus journey can now take almost an hour, while journeys by car take 30 minutes longer than before.
