On the 11th of July 2023, Rosie Copeland was violently evicted from her home of 20 years for the second time, when bailiffs knocked on her door without due notice,
barged in and threw her on to the street, under the purported authority of another forged High Court writ.
But just after 8:30AM on Saturday the 13th of August, the UCT Restitution Crew knocked on the front door at Rosie’s house in Bury St Edmunds, with the aim of
restoring the rightful owner to her home once again, armed with nothing but a few packing boxes. The two trespassing dog handlers occupying the house didn’t suspect a thing.

Very happy to say I was involved in this, a rewarding way to spend a Saturday. Lovely to see her back in her home. Hopefully the crooks who attempted to steal it will get their just rewards.
This type of local bottom up action is powerful. Well done for the courteous, but firm approach.
Good to see the local support including you Steve Kettle. This makes a change from many YouTubes showing the bailiffs succeeding which are probably play acted to deter people from taking action against the law breakers such as this lady – Good for her!!
Not exactly local mate, about a 140mls away, There was a lot of local help though but people did travel a long way. there are some very active groups around the country and growing. There are Rapid Response groups forming all over the country.

We both want the same thing Ian, slight differences on the odd subject are irrelevant. I don’t think I’ve met anyone who’s views were exactly the same as mine on everything, we’re all individuals.
