    Should cash be eliminated there is no backup system should the electronic dystopia fail.

    Twice this year retailers I visited have had internet / power outages leading to a long queues of frustrated cardholders standing in line. LOL

    I simply jumped the queue and paid with cash whilst reminding the captive audience cardholders of the benefits of using cash. No power or electronic trickery required.

    The electronic payment system is conceived to create dependency and the thieves that run it charge retailers similar fees as the bank would for handling cash without the staffing costs or effort… Robbers !
