Thetford Community against 20 minute neighbourhoods
Fri 4:10 pm +00:00, 3 Mar 2023 6On Tuesday 28th February, the public united against the proposed plans of a 20 minute neighbourhood, set out by the Breckland District and Norfolk District Councils. Thetford Town Council also plays a part in this as various councilors sit on the board of the aforementioned. There was so much interest regarding this that the meeting went from taking place at the Kings House to the Thomas Paine Hotel, where the landlord kindly allowed us to utilize their wonderful dining area. There was a great deal of passion contained within that room; and with good reason, if you know anything about agenda 2030 and what it stands for. Even the councilors aren’t fully aware of what they’re voting in.

Dropped my Brave shield & it appears.
Interesting NPP, I have the same problem. So thanks for that info. I notice when I removed the shield “accept Tap Cookies” came up when I did that the vid came up. Obviously Brave is doing its job, but now it will probably let advertising through!!
I just ‘accepted’ cookies, put the shield back up & all works.
It is a constant challenge for me.
One can bet Tap that the small town of Thetford was included, because it is in Thetford Forest barracks that imported immigrants are being trained wearing UN blue helmets together with armoured vehicles marked UN. I told this to a friend, who took it up with a Brigadier at an army lunch who confirmed but said we are assisting the UN!

Thetford is the home of Thomas Paine. This gathering was at the Thomas Paine Hotel.
It’s a potentially beautiful town, over-run by the London overspill programme 1960’s/70’s.
Today foreign language, over weight people & mobility scooters are common place. The local council & authority have long poorly managed the place.
