In the pro-Kremlin alternative media, we hear constantly that Putin entered the Syrian Civil War in order to save Syria, destroy ISIS, and “defend Christianity.”

This could not be further from the truth. Despite what the Soviet shills in alt media say, Israel has no problems with the Assad government. After all, Bashar al-Assad’s father sold the Golan Heights to Israel for $100,000,000 according to the assassinated Egyptian president Anwar Sadat. This war has been going on for over 12 years. Not a single shot has been fired on the Golan Heights by the Syrian Armed Forces and their allies.

I do not believe it is a coincidence that in 2015, the year Russia entered the war, Vladimir Putin won Israel’s Man of the Year award.
