It’s sad one has to go to the French press to get real news about the UK!

A protest by anti-refugee demonstrators in Britain degenerates into violent clashes with police outside a hotel housing asylum seekers near Liverpool that saw three people arrested.

“It was obvious this would happen. I think people are more alarmed because the govt. don’t explain what it is doing and because Britain doesn’t take refugees in this way or more to the point house them. People are going on holiday to find they don’t have hotel rooms they’ve booked. I think a lot of people are arriving from Afghanistan and Britain has just started accepting them unlike other countries who have had to pay for Britain/American wars. I presume the reason why an Asian has been elevated to the position of PM is to front this change in the Tory position..
