UK Prime Minister Liz Truss resigned on Thursday after just six weeks in office following her tumultuous start as the country’s economy is in crisis.
Her departure comes after a series of u-turns following former Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng’s disastrous mini-budget which eventually saw him replaced by Jeremy Hunt.
Beginning what was to be a tense evening for the Conservative Party, outgoing Home Secretary Suella Braverman criticised PM Liz Truss in a blistering resignation letter as she left her post on Wednesday, to be replaced by Grant Shapps.
There will now be a fresh Conservative leadership election lasting just a week.

Hi Weaver. I very much doubt it and a GE is definitely on the cards.
The UK will not and should not tolerate yet another unelected PM.
The nasty Tory party is in absolute meltdown and needs consigning to the dustbin of history. There is absolutely nothing ‘conservative’ about the b’stard outfit anyway.
Admittedly, the so-called ‘Labour’ outfit isn’t any better but some sort of fresh air is a bare minimum requirement at the moment.

Though Charles as King is not allowed to get involved with British politics it has been quite apparent to me for some time that indirectly through the WEF and the UN Climate Change – Sustainable Development he will have great influence not only as king of the world but as king of kings which is bordering on blasphemy.

and most deserved outcome.
