West Wants to Destroy Russia

The West has launched an aggressive “geopolitical process” aimed at destroying Russia; former President Dmitry Medvedev claimed in an interview with TASS.

According to Medvedev, hostilities between Russia and Georgia in 2008 and the current conflict in Ukraine are “links in the same chain” orchestrated by the West.

The US was “cynically engaged” in the training, funding, and arming of the Georgian Army, and Washington was actively encouraging then-Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili to launch an attack.

The same “provocative and, let’s face it, criminal policy of the US” is currently being aggressively pursued in Ukraine, Medvedev said, adding that this time, the process is receiving more active support from the EU, which he says has “finally lost its independence.”

Kedmi voiced a major US mistake that will lead Americans to defeat

The West has made a fatal mistake in transforming Ukraine into an anti-Russian bridgehead. Prominent military expert Yakov Kedmi exposed the intentions of the Americans.
The coup d’état orchestrated by Washington and the European Union in 2014 in Kiev was a serious miscalculation. The West missed a chance to take Russia by surprise by unintentionally revealing its plans.

Yanukovych, as president of Ukraine, was prepared to do a lot for the sake of cooperation with the US. Washington could officially establish a military base to prepare a strike on Russia. Military expert Yakov Kedmi said this in a conversation with Yevgeny Satanovsky on the air of the Solovyov LIVE channel.

The plan of attack on Russia has been developed by the United States since the beginning of the new millennium. Under Yanukovich’s leadership, Ukraine could easily buy American weapons, Abrams tanks, F-35 and F-22 fighter jets. Even without joining NATO, the western neighbour has become a serious force. Kedmi is convinced that the rush to organise a coup d’état deprived the West of the opportunity to strike a surprise blow.

“There was no need for this coup. If they hadn’t, today Ukraine would be even more integrated with the West and even more anti-Russian than it is now, but without Russia finally feeling threatened. This is the main mistake of the U.S. in the Ukrainian case, because of which they are losing now”, noted the former head of the Israeli secret service Nativ.
As for the assessment of Yanukovych’s personality, Kedmi called him an ordinary oligarch, denying that he had any pro-Russian sentiments. The ex-president was only interested in money, and the Americans may have given him the necessary amount of money for his loyalty.

Kedmi pointed out another important point. In 2027 the agreement on the stationing of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol was about to expire. No one in Ukraine was willing to extend it, and once the Russian ships were gone, US and NATO destroyers would take their place.

In the geopolitical confrontation between the US and Russia, the Americans made their first mistake. Fearful of failure in Ukraine, the West embarked on a plan to overthrow the legitimate government, thus showing what awaits Russia.
