Hosting Upgrade Appeal

Dear Visitor. The Tap has become increasingly busy over the last few weeks with many more visitors and sign ups. It's currently creaking and slowing. We need a hosting account upgrade to help cope with the increased activity and keep this free blog online. In this age of great change The Tap is a valuable independent resource where we can come together and share information the controlling parasites would rather we didn't have. It would be sad to lose it but it costs to keep it going and free to use. If any of you can help donate even a small amount towards the hosting upgrade that would be a big help. Your small donation makes a huge difference. Thank you in advance. Click here to donate

Express: Britain may declare “war” on Russia in case of execution of mercenaries in the DPR

Express: Britain may declare “war” on Russia in case of execution of mercenaries in the DPR
London may “declare war” on Russia in the event of the execution of British mercenaries Sean Pinner and Aiden Aslin convicted in the DPR. The corresponding article appeared in the Express edition.

The journalist noticed that Aslin had already called his mother. He said that the British authorities are not negotiating with the DPR, which means that he will inevitably be shot.

The publication believes that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson can “go for broke” in the event of the execution of Pinner and Aslin. And “the war will take an extremely dangerous turn.”

In particular, Britain can increase the supply of weapons to Ukraine, strengthen sanctions against Russia, and at the same time transfer attack aircraft to Kyiv, which President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky asked for.

The trial in the DPR was a signal to all mercenaries who came to kill Russians.

British mercenaries Aiden Aslin and Sean Pinner, who had previously participated in hostilities on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as Saadun Brahim, a citizen of the Kingdom of Morocco  , were sentenced  to death in the DPR, and the court gave a month to appeal the sentence.

According to the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, in fact, London’s appeal against the verdict against the mercenaries  will mean the recognition of the  Donetsk People’s Republic.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova  , said that the death penalty would serve as a “good example” for the “soldiers of fortune” who took the side of the Ukrainian nationalists.

The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, previously reported that the charter of the tribunal over mercenaries  was at the final stage.

“You will just be crushed”: Briton sentenced to death advised mercenaries not to go to Ukraine

Briton sentenced to death advises mercenaries not to go to Ukraine

Briton Sean Pinner, who was sentenced to death by the Supreme Court of the DPR for fighting against the inhabitants of Donbass, advised foreign mercenaries not to come to Ukraine. He said this in an interview with RT .

“If you don’t have military experience, it’s probably not worth going here to recruit it. From my own experience, I’ll say that doing combat missions, say, in Bosnia as part of the UN forces, or working in Ireland, or doing similar things is completely different “ Pinner explained.

He admitted that he first encountered artillery, “Grad” in Nezalezhnaya, difficulties were also caused by ignorance of the language and the inability to communicate with someone.

“Here you will simply be crushed, and you will return back faster than you arrived ,” the convict concluded.

I’ll bet Putin is sweating. Britain will kick the Russian bear’s ass. Sounds bad that, just checking that the apostrophe s is in the right place. In reality though, he’d go through Britain quicker than Ukraine, as he’d not need to worry about collateral damage ie us.

The UK is out of ammo with no hope of producing enough to match the Ruskis.

The Capacity of the West’s Industrial Base

The winner in a prolonged war between two near-peer powers is still based on which side has the strongest industrial base. A country must either have the manufacturing capacity to build massive quantities of ammunition or have other manufacturing industries that can be rapidly converted to ammunition production. Unfortunately, the West no longer seems to have either.

Presently, the US is decreasing its artillery ammunition stockpiles. In 2020, artillery ammunition purchases decreased by 36% to $425 million. In 2022, the plan is to reduce expenditure on 155mm artillery rounds to $174 million. This is equivalent to 75,357 M795 basic ‘dumb’ rounds for regular artillery, 1,400 XM1113 rounds for the M777, and 1,046 XM1113 rounds for Extended Round Artillery Cannons. Finally, there are $75 million dedicated for Excalibur precision-guided munitions that costs $176K per round, thus totaling 426 rounds. In short, US annual artillery production would at best only last for 10 days to two weeks of combat in Ukraine. If the initial estimate of Russian shells fired is over by 50%, it would only extend the artillery supplied for three weeks.

The US is not the only country facing this challenge. In a recent war game involving US, UK and French forces, UK forces exhausted national stockpiles of critical ammunition after eight days.

Is it only me that think Aidan Aislin looks anything but a soldier? More like a military chef (no disrespect intended to military chefs).

Pinner is a bit more believeable.
