They don’t at any point draw a conclusion. They present the evidence and allow the reader/listener to decide which way they think the evidence is pointing. I am still undecided. They could have produced the fake body for various reasons, only one of which could be that he wasn’t dead and had escaped. He was planning an escape according to one piece of paper discovered in his cell.

I’m undecided too because there are too many doubts. But a fake death is very possible, we’ve seen many of those over the years
In fact, based on the story arc then, that is quite likely,
The usual two options
Mainstream – he killed himself!
Alternative – they killed him!
So what is the third option – he isn’t dead
We’ve no way of knowing for sure, they can say and show whatever they want. But we’ve no way of knowing if ANY of it is true. Maybe if it ended up in a real court of law, but the hell will freeze over before that happens. So it’s ALL conjecture at this stage, a question of belief rather than facts
