Maduro reported captured and to stand trial in New York
How on earth does a sitting President get “captured” in his own country? When Trump reportedly told him a week ago that he would be? How does that work in practice? Has he got no competent security at all in his own country? For the President? He surely must have had more than one secret bolt hole? Story smells suspicious
And he’s to stand trial in New York it seems. Does a NY court have jurisdiction over another country? How does that work exactly? NY court is not internationally recognised as having any international law function surely?
So the whole story is highly suspicious
So, is Maduro a US asset of some sort? That’s a genuine question, I’ve no idea, but it feels possible. Wouldn’t be the first time either

Yes Tap, I wasn’t suggesting that it is the same actor, just that there is a resemblance. I also noticed that the image, on that beeb link that I posted above, subsequently changed to ultra low definition and small too. Maybe a few folk caught the resemblance?
Strange how most cameras are high def now but official ones are ultra low def when necessary
The hypocricy of America is blatantly obvious in condemning Russia’s “special military operation” since February 2022 to protect and eliminate the threat of Ukrainian armed forces ethnically cleansing Russian nationals living in the south of the country. America, on the other hand, thinks it perfectly legitimate to operate its clandestine invasion of Venezuela on the pretense that its leader is a narco-godfather while sitting on the world’s largest oil reserves, with approximately 303 billion barrels. I believe that the invasion of Venezuela is not about the smuggling of drugs into America, though there may be a case and a certain amount of truth to it, but rather that the greed of America wants the oil and its revenue. Iran is the world’s third-highest producer of oil and is most likely next on the hit list.
A quick glance at the Wiki page on Venezuela tells me that this place has been under western control for ages. The oil boom started in 1918 and so the country must have come under the Rothschild, City of London, influence then, at the latest, probably earlier
Call me cynical but, are we really to believe that all those previous “Presidents”, usually military guys were NOT on the payroll? That is a stretch for me. Monroe Doctrine was explicit about that. And all the, more recent, hot air about Chavez and Maduro likely serves as a smokescreen to hide who is really in control there
So has anything REALLY changed with this US action? And, if it has then, how is it fundamentally different?
