But fighting a war as Europeans is a way to undo Brexit and trap the UK back within the EU, and stop the EU disintegrating, with Serbia and Hungary declaring an independent

England will be split up into eleven separate nations by a resurgent militaristic EU.
Better to get England out of the UK as a whole, and return to peaceful negotiation with Russia and trade with the world.
