Very bad for the ruling class, since very few people are buying the “Trump as savior” schtick

Since I am part Irish (a Malloy through my maternal grandmother) I should start by wishing you a
happy St. Patrick’s day. I just hope Kennedy made sure all the green dye in the beer is safe. Since he is
a Kennedy, we can be sure he did, right?
Anyway, I ran across that graphic today, since the alternative press is having a field day with the fact
the Dems have hit a historical low. They are now 25 points underwater, a record for either party. But
as you see, the GOP is also 12 points underwater, so not exactly riding a tide—unless it is a rip tide.
Beware the Undertoad!
And, as usual, you can be sure the reality is much worse than this, since these mainstream polls are
always pushed. Both parties probably actually have about half that support, if any. So this graphic
actually confirms MY analysis and advice of the past five years more than anyone else’s. I have been
telling my readers to drive around both parties, since both are fatally corrupt beyond any fixing.
That 48% number for the GOP is especially telling, since it has to include a lot of conservatives. Only
about a third of respondents now identify as Dem or liberal, so it can’t be Dems skunking on the GOP
there. That has to include a lot of conservatives who still aren’t convinced Trump is the real thing.
Why would they when he is the one who initiated Operation Warp Speed for the fake vaccines and
recently introduced Pfizer’s head Albert Bourla as “a great great man” (to a wall of boos)? Why would
they when he is still sending billions to Israel and is now bombing Yemen? Why would they when he
wants to waste a trillion on a Golden Dome? Why would they when he wants to shut down all free
speech on campuses? Yes, he may be doing some good things as well, such as today voiding Biden’s
pardons, but we will see if any of those stick. It is doubtful that most of them will.
But my point is that the graphic above is very bad for the ruling class, since very few people are buying
the “Trump as savior” schtick. Even those of us glad to see him shooting down DEI and USAid and so
on are not really biting on the larger storyline of Trump as protector of the little guy. Just for starters, it
goes against the first 77 years of his life, where he was a greedy rich guy sweeping billions into his
pile. It would be like a Rockefeller suddenly becoming a big populist: utterly beyond belief. It simply
doesn’t happen. It has never happened in the history of the world, so why would it happen right now?
I also remember him saying in about 2018, in a speech to the CIA, that he was behind them 1000%. So
if you really think he is about to downsize the CIA, you are delusional. I am not sure what the USAid
thing is about—maybe they are shifting focus to domestic ops—but you can be sure Trump is not
taking on the CIA singlehandedly, or with only the help of Tulsi Gabbard and Pete Hegseth—a couple
of hairdos from Foxnews.
It is mainly about optics, you can be sure, but optics aren’t improving much according to this poll.
Trust and belief in the ruling class is in a steep decline worldwide, and we see many countries on the
edge of revolution, not just this one. Romania, Germany, Serbia, Greece, France, the UK, Ukraine,
Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Spain—just about every country in the world is on the brink of
disaster, so the optics are definitely not improving. Not so long ago in history they could have dealt
with this by starting a big world war, and you can see them testing the waters for that, but it won’t fly
this time. The Covid disaster destroyed every last shred of trust and I don’t think anyone is going to
show up for WWIII or buy the CGI staging of it, either. So they better come up with something else.
That fail would be their final undoing.
Same can be said for a fake alien invasion. That would fail for the same reason. Yes, the media and
Hollywood have prepared us for it for decades, but the problem is they prepared us too well,
oversaturating the ground. We have seen so many Independence Day movies we are emotionally
numb: most of us, I daresay, are so down on our governments we would welcome an invasion, cheering
the aliens on as they blew up the White House and Congress. The majority of us are so sick of this shit
we wouldn’t lift a finger to protect DC, New York, San Francisco, or any of the rest of it. Let the aliens
have it: they couldn’t be as evil as the people already there. Odds are it would be a real improvement.
That being the case, it leaves us with door number three: the remote possibility the rulers have heard
me or read this on the wind by some other means, and that they have instructed Trump to back them the
hell out of here—without being too obvious or drawing too much attention to themselves. As I have
said many times before, they had a good scheme running back in the 1950s and didn’t ever need to take
it this far. They have no one to blame but themselves for the huge implosion since 2000, especially,
and it all now starts to look like the usual Phoenician death-wish, the call of the flames.
It is all even salvageable? I guess so. Whatever can be done can be undone. But it is going to take
decades and generations of restoration. The human animal has been rebuilt into something small and
nasty and can’t be rebuilt with the wave of a wand. Job one is drying him out of all the drugs and lies,
so that Nature can take over and bring him back to health.
