He describes how China’s military power is located at home, while the US has bases located all around the world. The US is not proposing to fight China in China but to interdict Chinese shipping, ruining China’s economy.
China however is rapidly increasing output of its aircraft, and their capabilities. As time goes by China could go ahead of US capabilities. The West believes despite that that they can dictate terms to China, after centuries of world dominance.
Palmer Luckey thinks that US/Western technology will win out by technical superiority. As if business acumen can produce better killing machines than countries that are dedicated to their defence by a wish not to be suppressed any longer by western arrogance.
In shipbuilding China has gone ahead of the US by a mile. The US talks of building autonomous vessels or naval drones and missiles. China however can match or exceed quantity and quality of US output in this field, and with aerial drones.
China is billed by defence industry leaders like Luckey as a threat to the US.
In Ukraine the west has a deficit regarding weaponry with Russian capabilities being better, and the scale of output far higher. The idea of Anduril is to try to exceed Russia and China quantity advantage with superior technology – Good Luck!
