Sat 10:35 am +00:00, 18 Jan 2025Kursk region, team launches supercam drone from catapult in snowy field to direct artillery fire onto Ukrainians. 18 supercam teams have been destroyed by Ukrainian countermeasures. As the technician says, if the Ukrainians see a general in a golden tank and us, they shoot at us first. The launch is delayed by electronic countermeasures blocking the channel. They switch to a different channel which isn’t blocked and launch after a few technical hitches hold them back. Then they grab their kit and run. Patrick Lancaster is out there doing his thing. Russell Bentley described him as ‘that ****** piece of shit’ – maybe as Russell was a Communist helping the people of Donetsk with donations, while Lancaster is making a living. Whatever the reason, he’s doing good work, and it makes interesting viewing.
