On the money report. Who’s winning the war to control the world?
Thu 8:27 am +00:00, 16 Jan 2025 2Brian Berletic with Danny Haiphong. Russia can defeat NATO militarily, but the US has other powers in its toolbox which can be more effective than military power – infiltrating into the country that they are fighting militarily, and capturing their enemy politically. This strategy is ongoing in many countries, including Russia, China and many others.
Syria. Georgia. Armenia. The Baltics. Central Asia. Greenland. Russia has to defend against all these political attacks as well as win militarily in Ukraine.
On the Ukraine front NATO has got drawn into a war of attrition which it cannot win. Syria was hollowed out politically, but might still become a huge drain on US resources, as it descends into a series of regional conflicts. NATO wants to turn Ukraine into an Afghanistan that drains Russia, but that strategy is failing to deliver as NATO hoped. Even Syria might not become a drain on the resistance to the US, or become a terrorist breeding ground, like Libya. The US builds up extremists, trains them, arms them and when they reach critical mass, use them to destroy regimes.
The shift to multi-polarity is happening, but nations like Russia, China and Iran have limitations to project military power.
Libya in 2011 was wrecked by the US and its NATO vassals. Today Russia is very active there, and the US has not succeeded in achieving political control. Syria might over time go the same way as Libya as the groups dig in, suffer losses but never give up tiring and grinding down the moneyed US-backed agents. You can buy short term success in places like Libya and Syria using your assets and money power, but if you can’t defeat enemies like Hamas, Hezbollah, they keep on indefinitely until not the US and Israel, but the little guys win.
Trump offers little change to the US international agenda. You can’t vote the world out of these problems. Even Tulsi Gabbard got nominated saying all the right things, but is rowing back now she hopes to become Trump’s Director of Intelligence. John Bolton coming back…
Could Ukraine be fully defeated? Trump wants to freeze the battlefield. NATO/US is worried about a Russian outright victory. Russia is slowly steadily grinding down Ukraine, manpower, equipment, ammunition, the country’s infrastructure, and lowering the quality of quickly thrown together replacement fighting units. Ukraine is undergoing a slow motion collapse. The line moves every single day in Russia’s favour, even in heavily fortified areas. The process of collapse is accelerating exponentially. That’s why the West wants a freeze of the war. When will Ukraine collapse?
The first shall be last, and the last first. No one knows when.

Good summary thanks. Made me want to watch the vid, which I will do now
Infiltration and internal subversion are almost more important tools for the hegemon than military. They are past masters, Perfidious Albion’s forte. Many centuries of top notch spycraft, all the way back to the Tudors at least
Under cover of the so called “Gaza ceasefire” [I wish, not holding my breath] then Starmer pops over to Kiev to:
“…sign ‘100-year deal’.UK prime minister says Ukraine must be in ‘strongest possible position’ ahead of Trump re-entering office”
How much clearer could it be that Starmer is NOT a “Labour” politician. Plenty of dosh for Ukraine, none for British pensioners
