Russia has a policy of nuclear retaliation if it or any of its allies are targeted by nuclear weapons. The US just renounced the policy of mutually assured destruction and adopted pre-emptive strike measures. In other words, the West can start a nuclear war any time it wants. Given its policy of destroying the US (see logo) this should be unsettling.
