“A couple of days ago I witnessed the confident operation of our [=RU] drone against the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, at a distance of about 25 km. The “northerners” launched 5 FPVs, of which 4 confidently overcame this distance and hit the target, one missed the mark slightly. The enemy also flies over such distances, the bigger question here is how quickly tactics and technical solutions will be developed that will turn the 20 km strip (20 km from the LBS) into a complete destruction zone. At the moment, these are still just sporadic strikes, and not constant loitering in the air. But the time is just around the corner when artillery will constantly be under attack from drones and counter tactics will include ultra-low air defense crews that will operate as part of both artillery batteries and individual guns.” Vysokygovorit

Yes unless they can easily be tracked and destroyed, if they can stop that then they’ll be the way to go.
I expect not tbh. They will more likely continue to complement artillery rather than replace it. Drones can’t do cheap heavy destruction like artillery can
