    I also believe they were a psyop but it must have started before this because, from the comments, they were great then.

      Yes Likely Belyi. I just think that the standard of their playing and singing must have become much more controlled, as they sound like a local pub band on this.

    They were a psyop Ian. It is fairly well documented in various places. A Tavistock creation cut from whole cloth. The music industry provided high quality writers and musicians for their albums because they were not adept, certainly not in the early days

    If you listen to their first two albums with a critical mind then it is fairly easy to understand. They are just a load of soppy love songs for teenage girls. Written by four snotty nosed scouse rockers? Hilarious! Nope, written by industry writers, for mainstream pop charts, probably by their “producer” George Martin who was a very talented musician and composer

    Mathis has done both Lennon and McCartney very thoroughly. Both are peerage brats, both basically frauds as far as the writing went. I will give them a pass as far as the singing, because there wasn’t any autotune then as far as I know. Lennon was witty too, a real scouse edge to him. Lennon couldn’t live with the lie and faked his death to enable him to retire

    There were always two “Pauls” they were brothers; the nodding head mop top and the vile Macca. Macca is struggling with the lie it seems but is still taking the plaudits

    The two Pauls often appeared in the Beatles films together, not at the same time obviously. But in your face or what! Mop top retired quite early on and Macca took over the full role. The “Paul is dead” story was to cover up this fact

    Mathis, and Mark Tokarski of “Piece of Mindful”, absolutely nailed it regarding Paul/Macca. Mathis showed the twins. Tokarski even found the mop top Paul living in retirement in Liverpool
