Projection is a technique used by propagandists to shift the focus of blame onto their opponents. In the case of the Soviet Union, they often accused their enemies of the crimes that they themselves were committing. One example is the infamous ‘holocaust gas chambers’ which, to this day, is used for guilt propaganda against Germany. However, in the case of Auschwitz (Oświęcim), the Soviets ordered a chimney to be built after the war, and in Eastern Europe, they spread stories of Jews being made into soap that were later disproved. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn noted that it was the Soviets who were the originators of gas chambers in his writings:
“From the astonishing disclosure in 1990 we learned that the famous mobile gas chambers were invented, as it turns out, not by Hitler during the World War II, but in the Soviet NKVD in 1937 by Isai Davidovich Berg, the head of the administrative and maintenance section of the NKVD of Moscow Oblast… I.D. Berg was entrusted with carrying out the sentences of the “troika” of the NKVD of Moscow Oblast— the executioners became unable to cope with the sheer number of executions. Then they invented a time-saving method: the victims were stripped naked, tied, mouths plugged, and thrown into a closed truck, outwardly disguised as a bread truck. On the road the exhaust fumes were redirected into the prisoner-carrying compartment, and by the time the van arrived to the burial ditch, the prisoners were ‘ready.’ (Well, Berg himself was shot in 1939, not for those evil deeds, of course, but for ‘the anti-Soviet conspiracy'” (Solzhenitsyn, 2002). David Cole conformed that the Austwitz chimney was built post war. And that the “gas chambers” there were showers in reality. If they’d been used as gas chambers then the crew operating them would have been killed!
I assumed from the narrative Pete, that it was Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn who was the source of the information.

David Cole did expose it in his video of his visit to the camp. He showed that the gas chambers were nothing of the sort. He even interviewed the museum curator

Stalin means Man of Steel. But his surname was really Dzhugashvili. So another “Soviet” with an alias. All well known ones used fake names, Lenin, Trotsky, Stalin and more I expect. All were Jews too, not one of them a real Russian….
