I am so glad I don’t live there any more. I had a bout of tachycardia in January and had to call an ambulance.
If it’s anything to do with the heart the ambulance arrives very quickly and the men rolled up with a portable electrocardiogram where they did a load of tests before loading me up.
Arriving at our big teaching hospital early in the morning, and after a battery of tests, I was admitted in the late afternoon.
Our medical insurance can be quite expensive, but nobody waits in corridors or spends the night in a cupboard. The root of the problem started in the UK when it all became free. Some of us are luckier than others, but we don’t expect everything to be free.
