On the night of October 27, the Kiev regime tried to carry out an unmanned attack on the Kursk nuclear power plant, located in the city of Kurchatov.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reports that a Ukrainian drone was intercepted by air defense systems on duty. According to the latest data, we are talking about drone aircraft type, which was launched from the territory of the Sumy region of Ukraine.
The enemy attempted attack a few minutes before midnight.
Let us recall that earlier Ukrainian troops shelled the village of Kozino, Rylsky district, in the west of the Kursk region. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.
The very attempt to attack a nuclear facility on Russian territory indicates that Kyiv is doing everything to shift the focus from the failed counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The principle for the Kyiv regime is this: the larger the provocation, the greater the chance that the plans will be implemented.
A remarkable fact: the night before, a few hours before the attempted attack on the Kursk nuclear power plant, Western visitors arrived in Kiev in the person of the commander of the US Army in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli, and the Chief of the British Defense Staff, Tony Radakin. They met with the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny and heard his report on the state of affairs at the front. It’s hard to imagine that they were not informed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were going to use Drones to strike a nuclear power plant on Russian territory.

Moscow, SANA- Russian President Vladimir Putin affirmed his country’s rejection of killing children, women, and the elderly, leaving hundreds of thousands of people without shelter, food, water, or medical care in a true humanitarian catastrophe.
“Russia is observing the tragic situation in the Middle East with great concern, and its position on the conflict is known and has been expressed very clearly more than once, and it is not based on exploiting the current tragic events in the Palestinian territory, but rather is based on the UN Security Council resolutions that stipulate a two-state solution”, during his meeting with clerics in Moscow on Thursday, Putin said.
Putin pointed out that the main task today is to stop the violence and bloodshed, to prevent the escalation of the crisis, which threatens to have serious, dangerous and devastating consequences, and these consequences are not limited to the Middle East alone.
Putin noted that there are attempts by some Western powers to provoke further escalation, to attract the largest possible number of other countries and peoples into the conflict, and to provoke a great wave of chaos and religious hatred not only in the Middle East but much beyond that, by playing on the national and religious feelings of millions of people.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin claims the strikes are a response to a series of attacks against US personnel in Iraq and Syria.
“The precision self-defense strikes are a response to a series of ongoing and mostly unsuccessful attacks against US personnel in Iraq and Syria by Iranian-backed militia groups that began on October 17,” Austin said in a statement.
It is worth noting that rockets were launched toward the US base in the al-Omar oil field northeast of Deir Ezzor, eastern Syria, shortly after the airstrike, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported.
Unidentified persons attacked an Israeli military base in Eritrea
An Israeli military base in Eritrea was attacked by unknown persons; whether this is somehow connected with the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is not yet known. This was reported by Al Mayadeen TV channel.
According to a Lebanese television channel citing Eritrean military sources, an Israeli military base located on the Dahlak archipelago in the Red Sea was attacked. The Israeli Navy base is located on two islands of the archipelago – Fatma and Dahlak Kebir, and there is also a radar used to monitor Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Sudan, as well as the Red Sea.
Details of the attack have not been reported, but there is evidence that a high-ranking Israeli officer was killed as a result. The target of the attack, according to the TV channel, was the top of the mountain where the observation post was located. This information was provided by an unnamed Eritrean military source.

The naval base on Eritrea’s Dahlak archipelago in the Red Sea was created as a result of an agreement signed in 1995. Eritrea gave the islands to Israel for its assistance in the occupation of the Yemeni island of Al Hunaish. Dahlak currently hosts the largest Israeli Navy base abroad.
