Putin Interrupts African Leaders’ Peace Pitch; Calls Proposals ‘Misguided’

Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly shunned the peace proposal presented by African leaders. Putin welcomed leaders from South Africa, Senegal, Egypt, Zambia, Uganda, Congo Republic and Comoros to the Konstantinovsky Palace. However, the Russian President interrupted opening remarks by African leaders seeking to mediate in the Ukraine conflict. Putin reportedly put out a list of reasons why he believed many of their proposals were misguided.
