“The End of Wagner PMC’s “Justice March” to Moscow – Results of the Day⚡️
 The so-called “march of justice” of Evgeny Prigozhin and the Wagner PMC to #Moscow has ended in #Russia.
In the morning it became known that the ” Wagnerians” entered #Rostov on Don and blocked the headquarters of the Southern Military District and some more key buildings and then moved further north along the M-4 highway.
Russian Aerospace Force aircraft flew off, after which the fighters began to shoot down Russian aircraft.
During the day, seven aircraft were lost from the actions of the Wagner fighters, five of which did not carry any weapons. ▪️
Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the nation, calling the situation an armed mutiny and a stab in the back of Russian servicemen carrying out tasks in the SMO zone. 🔹
The mutiny ended two hundred kilometres from #Moscow, when, with the mediation of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, the Russian authorities and Prigozhin managed to reach a compromise, the details of which are not yet known. ▪️
The head of the Wagner PMC said that they were satisfied with the terms of the agreement, the march is over and the soldiers are returning to their field camps.
According to some information Alexey Dyumin, governor of the #Tula region, also took part in the negotiations. 📌
One of Prigozhin’s demands was the resignation of Defence Minister Sergey Shoygu and Head of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov.
Given that, according to the source, the mutiny was stopped on favourable terms for the PMC chief, there is reason to believe that the Russian Ministry of Defence leadership will eventually be removed. 💬
At the end of the day, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the criminal case against Prigozhin would be dropped and he (Prigozhin) himself would “go to #Belarus“.
