    It seems totally ridiculous to me. It is everywhere. Eg. I have been into countryside pursuits since I was a kid, fishing, shooting trapping etc. Now I know that many, mostly City folks, have a Walt Disney view of nature, but I can assure you that if Mama Duck dies, Mrs Fox will not rear her ducklings for her. Silly, yes I know, but to a lesser degree, the Government works as though it’s that way, as they give in to pressure from groups with extreme ideas. Take badgers for example. Ohhhh they’re lovely. Nobody ever sees them except dead by the roadside. They dig out bumblebee nests, kill hedgehogs and ground nesting birds, dig holes, and grub up fields etc etc. You can be fined £10,000 for tampering with them.

    OK get to the effing point ian. Yes sorry I can waffle. I took offence at an email I got trying to scrounge money for a government wildlife scheme. I wrote back to them suggesting where they might stick their email and embellished my reply with a few of my strongly held beliefs about the countryside.

    I got a reply from a “lady” whose pronouns were her and she, and was of the Marianna Spring mould. I replied again as Ian whose pronouns are fat and old. She never got back. Sorry for the waffling.

    It’s pretty simple. Either a baby is born with XY chromosomes or XX chromosomes. Whatever nonsense is fed into the child’s head, this is unalterable. A simple understanding of biology would be in order.
