‘Don’t Provoke Russia’: Germans Rise Against NATO | Protest Bloc’s Air Drill Amid Ukraine War

Hundreds of people in Germany demonstrated in front of Wunstorf air base in Hanover ahead of the international Air Defender 2023 air force maneuver. NATO’s Air Defender 23 drill will see 10,000 participants and 250 aircraft from 25 nations and is aimed at putting up a strong show of force amid Ukraine conflict. However, protesters expressed concerned that the exercise will only send wrong signals to the world, especially Russia, and may escalate the crisis.
