“We are probably about to witness the most terrifying land battle since the Second World War,” said Gabriel.

The former Foreign Minister of Germany also said that the confrontation risks becoming a very large-scale one: 30-40 thousand Ukrainian troops against approximately the same number of Russian troops. It will not be possible to prevent the fight as both sides want to continue the hostilities, he noted.

Didn’t UKraine start off this conflict with over half a million men under arms and still got turned over by the Russians?
Why should we believe 30-40,000 troops will fare any better now? utter BS.

Agreed Steve. If they only field 30/40k troops then they will be annihilated. And if that is the best that they can now muster then, they are toast at some time this year

For quite some time I’ve felt that this is a war until there are no Ukrainians left standing. It’s also clear that NATO are incapable of making a difference. The biggest army in Europe has already been done, who else is mad enough to send their young men into the meat grinder. Hopefully nobody, but the perps are clearly satanically insane, they care not for their “citizens” lives
