A U.S. Congressional Committee on Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party has proposed that India be admitted to Nato Plus.

The U.S. Panel recommended India as the sixth NATO plus member to seek its support against China.

This comes ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official visit to U.S. next month.
