Yes there is a lot going on in France, confined mainly to the big cities, particularly Paris. I have a nephew living in central France in a fairly rural area where all is quite, even during the yellow vests protests, covid lockdowns and up to about a month ago. There is very little about the riots even in the French press. One wonders if it is all theatre. The scenes are generally the same, with fires, teargas with police advancing and then sometimes police retreating from the rioters.
Some police stepping down and joining the protestors.
