Booklet advertising Stokes’ herbal medicines – campaigning against vaccination and listing money spent on this between 1845 and 1885. An attack on Paracelsus and his use of mercury is on the back cover.

I got my childhood vaccines, and sadly – stupidly – had my children in the childhood vaccine scheme.. Yet somehow I’d always had doubts about cold / flu’, from my own observations it was temperature changes that triggered my sniffles, and I never detected anyone else ‘getting it’ from me. But.. pushed those thoughts away because.. you know, ‘not a doctor’…
Anyway, the information was always there, since 1888.
And yes I was warned, a passer-by gave me a hint, I remember it like 9-11. And there were more nudges. I think it works that way, either you listen or you decide to ignore it. No adult can play the ignorance card.
