Permanent Climate Lockdowns: The “15 Minute Cities” Are Coming

Many thanks to sovereigntea for this link.

The “15 minute city” is a key concept in Agenda 2030. Climate change and the environment are words used to justify what really is a confined space from which you will not be allowed to leave by car, and that’s only the start.

Many resources at link, and over three thousand comments.

It is most important that people search for the term “local government of your location” e.g blah blah borough council and “climate emergency” “training level four and councillors ”

Places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. Any officers from the same council who sign up afterwards will be placed on the waiting list. We will of course be in touch should a place become available.

Additionally, as part of the training offer, we will introduce a train the trainer model. This will mean that staff members from your council who have successfully completed the training will also be able to offer the training themselves, meaning that learning can be shared across your organisation.

During this course, you’ll commit to two carbon reducing actions. These actions will be evaluated by the Carbon Literacy Project for you to be certified as carbon literate, enabling you to train others in your area of work.

Fee: The cost of attending this programme is fully subsidised. This includes course materials and tuition.
Where: It will take place virtually on Zoom.
