Hope dies last

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on the possibility of returning Russia’s gold and foreign exchange reserves frozen by the West.

“Given that we are talking about an international act of theft, a violation of everything and everything, all international rules and laws, then, of course, we will continue to defend our interests. Hope dies last,” Peskov said.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that the freezing of Russian assets in the European Union should be called “theft.”
