In this episode, Sal Mercogliano – maritime historian at Campbell University and former merchant mariner – discusses how the recent Kerch Strait Bridge attack could have severed the Russian flow of cargo from its inland waterways via the Sea of Azov to the Black Sea, had the main span of the bridge collapsed. He also examines the recent calls to increase the flow of ships to Ukraine and difficulties in inspecting ships in Istanbul.
