Anti-NATO, Anti-EU, Pro-Russia Protests Grip Moldova as Citizens Grow Frustrated. As Europe’s energy crisis intensified, around 7000 protestors took to the streets of Moldova’s capital city of Chișinău on Sunday for the sixth straight week, demanding President Maia Sandu’s resignation. Not just this, protestors have set up tents outside her house and vowed not to leave it till such time she steps down.
