William Cooper, called “the most dangerous man in America” by Bill Clinton, was a former naval officer, decorated veteran, short wave radio broadcaster and world renowned lecturer and author, he was shot and killed November 5th 2001 under suspicious circumstances because of his ongoing expose of US government involvement in the events of 11. September 2001. Cooper was reared in an air force family and spent his childhood and young adult life traveling the world on military assignments. He served honorably in Vietnam, spent time running a small university, opened an art gallery, married, had children, and eventually penned “Behold a Pale Horse” which became an all-time underground bestseller, exposing everything from secret societies to government contacts with aliens.
I have read Behold a Pale Horse, and very good it was too. A distinctive style like his speaking style. He said that he would be killed on his own doorstep, and indeed was. He was told to come out unarmed, he came out armed, he wouldn’t put down the gun and was killed. Had he obeyed the police, we’ll never know what would have happened to him. He seemed to choose his ending. A great visionary.
His book was one of the first I purchased when I was introduced to these topics. His terrible demise has stayed in my mind forever. It tells us so much about the world we inhabit, and particularly about the evil and lawlessness of the US.
