Alexander briefly recounts the role of Turkey in the Syrian conflict: taking the side of the US in sponsoring a colour revolution when he had previously been on good terms with Syria. Turkey’s role was pivotal as jihidas were trained in Turkey.

Why the change? Turkey is in trouble economically and turning to the East; sentiment within Turkey is in favour of a rappr0ochement so does not put him at risk of another coup attempt ( US sponsored ). Erdogan is a very stubborn man so it has taken  him a long time to come round to this portion which Putin has quietly been suggesting.

Erdogan has recently stated that US troop occupation must cease.

The Pentagon is furious.
