Speaking in Birmingham yesterday, Liz Truss ready to unleash nuclear weapons if she becomes prime minister

UK PM hopeful ‘ready’ to use nukes

Liz Truss feels “ready” to launch Trident nuclear weapons, the frontrunner for Conservative leadership declared at Tuesday’s hustings in Birmingham, UK, saying that making decisions like this is an “important duty of the prime minister.”

The foreign secretary did not elaborate on which country the UK might be persuaded to use nuclear weapons against. She has delivered plenty of hawkish rhetoric along the campaign trail, primarily targeting Russia, and is an avid booster of the Ukrainian cause.

Truss also pledged to raise military spending by 3% of GDP by the end of the decade.

Both candidates have blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin for the dismal state of the British economy, which is plagued by high inflation, high gas prices, and an increasingly unaffordable cost of living, widely seen as resulting from unilateral restrictions imposed by London and its allies.

Truss and Sunak have also taken issue with Putin’s planned attendance at the upcoming G20 summit in Indonesia, though Sunak wants to see him barred entirely and Truss said she would prefer to personally confront him at the event.

As of Tuesday, Truss is 26 points ahead her rival and former Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak, according to Politico. Whoever wins will replace Boris Johnson as prime minister.

While Sunak was among the first to quit his post in Johnson’s cabinet, Truss was among the handful of high-ranking officials who refused to do so despite the mounting scandals, citing loyalty as her reason.

I’d love to see a debate between Truss and Putin. Live and unedited teatime on BBC. To be honest, she must have grabbed her ankles for the right people to get where she is now. Way above her abilities.

The very thought of giving Truss ‘one’ is repulsive in the extreme.
Why, I would shake her hand in fake deference if I met her but fear mine would fall off.

Graphic nauseous thoughts Aldous. I agree that she doesn’t fill my heart with desire either, she does however give herself fully whatever the circumstances to those in charge. However despite all this, due to a shortage in certain areas of my life, should she force herself upon me, I might not put up a fight, but I certainly would against Rishi Sunak, not that desperate, nor that woke. Apologies to those of a sensitive disposition.

All you say is so true, Ian.

If she went to Oxford, as she did, then she has been being trained and prepared as an obedient servant ever since then. Lack of intelligence is probably considered a plus for these people, as they do not want them thinking for themselves. They are brainwashed from an early age.
I am watching this being done to a young man near me; child of single mother on benefits, grammar school, university, now at London School of Economics. Although he has grown up living off the state in comfortable circumstances ( free rent, council tax etc) he is perfect fodder for the Marxists. He has always been interested in politics, so it would not surprise me to see them grab him and use him. He wouldn’t be at LSE if there were not some chance of him being useful to them.

Has anybody thought to ask the dim witted little tart what exactly does she think will happen to these little islands IF she ever did push the button?

    • ian says:

I’ve no doubt that Putin will Stevie, if she ever gets to talk to him.
      Great comment.

Hi stevie k. Your ‘dim witted little tart’ reference had me thinking for all sorts of reasons. It’s spot on of course and Truss does come across as a loose living trollop.
The word ‘truss’ has all manner of sexual connotations. ‘…binding close the wings or legs of (a fowl)’ is my ‘firm’ – pun intended – favorite.
I expect when Truss does eventually die and is buried after her miserable life on Earth, it may well be in a Y-shaped coffin with a stake through its heart and a vibrator with lots of those rampant-rabbit batteries to keep the damn thing going and her cumming (shudder the thought) until Satan accepts her on board.
Frighteningly, she reminds me of a lady(sic) I woke up next to one morning after a really boozy day and night in my misspent youth. I certainly didn’t know her name nor did I want to.
I hadn’t the faintest idea what happened during the night and didn’t want to know that either.
I never imagined I could get my gear on so fast and out of a place.
When I asked my mates later what had happened, all they would say is: “You don’t want to know” and I still don’t know to this bloody day! Regards.

Great comment Aldous. You have once again reminded me of the sheltered life I’ve led. Me being very shy when younger didn’t help, but there’s no going back. Now I just have the job of cleaning up the cup of tea that I spat everywhere while reading your comment. loved it.

  4. Aldous says:

G’day Ian and glad you liked the comment. Wifey liked it too before she gave me a good slap, not for waking up next to a loose woman but for not knowing her name.
Then wifey asked if I gave her any money on my way out, which I did in a round sort of way because I left my wallet behind which I never got back. That admission earned me another, even harder slap. She knows I won’t retaliate so I just let her get on with it because I need to eat and luv her and being slapped by her is as close as it gets to sex these days.
The ‘rampant rabbit’ reference I made reminded me of a Bette Midler/James Caan moment in the film ‘For the Boys’ where they are both on stage in the UK during WW2 giving a show that is being broadcast on radio.
The producers indicate to them (on cue boards) that they need to stretch their act by 30 seconds or so before they go off air.
Caan says to Midler: “What can we do in 30 seconds” to which Midler replies: “Not much unless you’re part rabbit”. The audience absolutely loved it but Caan was furious afterwards off stage and called her ‘toilet mouth’ amongst other things, wanting to send her back to the US. They work it out of a fashion and it’s a film well worth watching. Regards.

“Liz Truss said she was prepared to unleash nuclear destruction…”
It’s all lies and ‘fear porn’ about nuclear weapons etc. Even nuclear power stations are a lie imho.
Those who seem to know more about it than I say they are ‘dumploads’ to protect national grids from power demands and surges.
    I wouldn’t have a clue but I am suspicious.
