Two summits in a row, those of the G7 and NATO, show that the West is deploying all its weapons – military, political, economic – to maintain the dominance it is losing in a world that is becoming increasingly multipolar, as evidenced by the growing development of the BRICS: the economic organization that brings together Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, which Iran, Argentina and other countries want to join.
In Ukraine, while the G7 provides Kiev with $30 billion, NATO provides it with increasing amounts of weapons against Russia. NATO’s role is not just that, however: Pentagon officials, interviewed by the New York Times, confirm for the first time, with precise facts, that the command and management of military operations in Ukraine are in the hands of the Pentagon and NATO.
The NATO Summit approved the new Strategic Concept, which calls Russia “the most significant threat to Allied security” and states that “strategic competition is increasing around the world.” In the new Strategic Concept, NATO speaks explicitly about China for the first time, declaring that “China’s coercive policies challenge our interests, our security and our values.”
We are facing a single strategy of war that the West implements from Europe to East Asia. While in Europe NATO under U.S. command expands from 30 to 32 countries, including Sweden and Finland, even closer to Russia, in Asia and the Pacific the U.S. military deployment grows, supported mainly by Australia and Japan. The world’s largest naval exercise under U.S. command is taking place in the Pacific against China.
All this costs money and we are always the ones paying for it. According to official NATO data, Italian military spending rises to about 29 billion euros in 2022, equivalent to 80 million euros per day. The sharpest increase occurred during the lockdown period: from 21 billion in 2019 it rose to over 26 billion in 2020 and over 28 billion in 2021. NATO, however, warns, “Doing more will cost more.”

NATO – North Atlantic Terrorist Outfit – has really bitten off more than it can chew this time. Its hubris knows no bounds. Those misguided and naïve little countries (like the Baltic States) that signed up to this evil entity will soon discover their stupidity as they become war zones and are turned into virtual moonscapes c/o NATO.
The USA mustn’t be allowed to get away with it this time around – as in World Wars 1 and 2 – and deserves the same brutal treatment as Europe suffered.
Washington D.C. in particular needs wiping off the map, same as The City (of London). These are satanic sovereign ‘City States’ and nothing to do with the countries that they purport to be part of.
In WW2, Germany had no ‘strategic’ bombers like Britain and the US, whose sole purpose was to carpet bomb entire cities (and its people) into oblivion.
The idiotic West is taking on ‘Russia’s Back Yard’ and cannot win – whatever that means these days.
I remember a politician back in the 70s saying that Vietnam was never about winning anything but merely taking part. It appeared to be a debacle at the end (like Afghanistan) but was it?
As Franklin D. Roosevelt once (allegedly) said: “In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.”
My thoughts entirely.
I’m a great believer in Karma and it’s only a matter of time before the US and UK are hit. For very good reasons Russia has an exceptional leader, a man who acknowledges God, a man that serves not himself but his country and the people of Russian know it and have confidence in the man, Putin.
Hi Ian. Russia is a historic graveyard for wannabe invaders. I think at Stalingrad (St Petersburg) a German soldier died every single minute on average. Most people have no comprehension of the immense losses (on both sides) during Operation Barbarossa and on the Russian Front. The 50,000 or so Ukrainians – I don’t have the Russian casualty figures but they are far less – who have perished since February will seem like nothing if and when it really kicks off over there.
I’ve started to lose weight and sleep because of worry and the sheer scale of what’s in the post for Europe (yet again) and the World.
I can’t see it being stopped any more as war fever gathers its own momentum until it finally burns itself out – and runs out of soldiers/military – and Poland and Germany (to name but two) are now at real risk from the Russian Bear for poking and provoking it too much.
Russia didn’t want war but NATO trash at the top certainly did. Regards.
