This documentary explores the truth behind some of today’s most widely-accepted medical practices, and seeks to expose how the focus on corporate profits influences traditional medical treatment in the United States. That pattern of pharmaceutical malfeasance is of course reflected in the UK and a great many other countries so the documentary’s points apply far beyond the US.

The sound quality is poor but the video is well worth persisting with as it arms you with a good basic understanding of what drove modern “mainstream medicine” up the proverbial creek without a paddle where it has floundered and under-achieved for decades at great cost to the health of millions.

Most importantly it also sheds light on what we an do about it to put the full spectrum of Man’s knowhow to proper use in creating a future of much greater wellness both for the planet and its inhabitants.

In so doing it enables us to formulate a precept for the People’s Manifesto (rough draft of the wording as follows):

We pledge to terminate all financing of medical schools by the pharmaceutical industry. Government henceforth shall fund the training of medical doctors on behalf of and as a service to the People. The training of medical doctors shall at the same time be broadened to include the knowledge and application of nutrition, knowledge and application of non-drug-based remedies, the emphasis on and prioritisation of the PREVENTION of illness through the creation of wellness. A body shall be established to ensure the fullest possible application of these principles. Such a body shall comprise in good balance recognised experts (by virtue of the results they have achieved in medical practice) in the fields of nutrition, holistic medicine, so-called “alternative” remedies and so forth, as well as so-called “mainstream” medicine. Anyone with financial, familial or other ties to any medical industry other than those of a practitioner shall be excluded.”
