Another day with Patrick Lancaster’s team – embedded with LPR military

Sorotino is a village about 1 km from Severodonetsk.

The team talk with inhabitants, hear their accounts, hear about and view the destruction of their homes, are told how anyone who is pro-Russians has been bullied, threatened, and lived in fear of the Nationalists.

The people themselves have lived harmoniously as they are not interested in politics.

The LPR commander shows them abandoned weapons and ammunition, some identifiably NATO; the buildings which have been ransacked and destroyed even when they only spent one night in them before moving on.

Food and medicines gratefully received and willingly shared amongst the recipients; people looking out for one another is a constant feature of those whom Patrick’s team endeavours to help. ” No bread for four months!”
