Could someone please explain to me how Gonzalo Lira can broadcast such messages when he supposedly was kidnapped for seven days by Ukrainian SBU and is now unable to leave Kiev, by their direction? What is going on? I think many are wondering, but I have not noticed anyone attempting to explain it.

      A very good question danceaway

He is supposedly in Kharkiv but he could be anywhere. I’ve seen no images of him at all other than an unidentifiable room, so why not? Kharkiv is still under Ukie control according to the Southfront map from yesterday. The Russians haven’t captured it yet. It should be easy for him to take something that pins his location accurately.

And is it credible that he would be picked up by the nazi regime and then released to carry on broadcasting? That’s a bit of a stretch for me tbh. If he’s still broadcasting then, they surely must WANT him to be

But, then again, who knows what’s real in a war. The first casualty is always truth and it is very difficult to judge. Even with location reportage like the excellent Graham Phillips, who shows lots of footage of real, devastating, destruction. He is much more credible for me because he is operating in Russian controlled areas. And I guess that they WANT us to see the reality of war which looks grim

Yeah, danceaway, the nazi’s said he seemed ok so they let him go. Said he could post wot e liked.
No sorry, D’ haven’t a clue regarding him. Just recognised him and embarrassingly due to my low input lately, thought I’d post it. Sorry.

No need to apologise Ian, he talks a lot of sense even if he is a bit of a mystery. He seems to be highly rated by other alt names too so who knows

I think that we need scepticism about all these characters. How many alternative names are on the payroll of the bad guys? Probably plenty, but which ones, how to tell?
