Glad you enjoyed it Ian. it was wifey who stumbled across it. She was chuckling away and annoying me quite a bit actually.
When I asked her what she was watching and laughing at, she said it was some Bird and Fortune clips that she hadn’t come across in years.
She just happened to be watching that one at the time which she winged over to me.
I’m sure it was Bird and Fortune who did that hilarious clip where a Sir Edward someone or other (John Bird?) was being interviewed by John Fortune.
Fortune asked if he could he could dispense with the Sir stuff, to which Sir Edward said, “Of course”. It gets better.
Fortune still had a problem with using ‘Edward’ and asked if he could shorten it to Eddie during the interview. Sir Edward – clearly getting exasperated by now – said, “Whatever”.
Anyway Fortune finally gets the interview under way and refers to Sir Edward as ‘Eddie Baby!’
Sir Edward was not best pleased.
