The pipeline passes through these countries, and they could simply steal the gas intended for other countries that are paying in Rubles.  If they do, Russia will reduce supply yet further.

Correction. The Polish pipeline is part of Nordstream 1 pipeline. The Bulgarian pipeline is separate it is part of Turkstream. That one goes through Turkey through Bulgaria into Serbia etc. 2 different pipelines.

Missile strike takes out only railway that supplies Odessa from Moldova.
