    It could be in a way. Last year a hedge fund was betting/ short selling against a share price of a company (Game stock mentioned in the video), a group on Reddit all started buying the shares pushing the price up and costing the hedge fund millions and millions. It even got to a point where Reddit suspended the page of the groups of investors because the hedge fund was very close to bankruptcy. The hedge funds are using millions and millions of funds of their clients in these ‘bets’ ‘short selling’ to crash the stock price for profit. The investors pushed the price up costing the clients of the hedge funds millions and millions.
